Mike, what about using some PVC tubing for your mold? A thicker wall would ensure that the mold doesn't crack. The downside would be that you couldn't see whether the bullet and everything else was centered.

Looking good Thaeris, you certainly have quite a selection of very old razors!
Hey fellas, where did you guys get the small bolts you use for your mock ups?
I can't seem to find any locally. Thanks
You might try "Small Parts Inc." You want 00-90

Or from Micro Fasteners. If you use Micro Fasteners, a 4mm, ¼ inch socket on a 4-inch extension will make your life so much easier.

I've gotten them at Ace hardware. Look in the miniature stainless drawer 0-80
Thanks a lot guys. I'm going to the big city soon. I'm betting I will find them there.
Appreciate all your help as always
If you follow the methods of enlarging holes to over 1/ 16th inch. The 0-80 at just 0.06+ will work well. And, it is stiffer. If you taper the hole in the wedge from both sides, it is easier to get the blade centered because the wedge won't bind the movement of the scales back and forth.
