Just think, you get to make scratches along the length to offset all the scratches from rotary tools. So the grind lines disappear more quickly.
You can wrap regular papers and films around the contoured shapes that clamp into the tools.

Like you said, you can use the concave attachments on blades but you can also use the convex attachments for rounding scales.
