Thanked: 4206First Dorko I've held. Thin, beautiful blade. Great temper to er. Scales toast on the printed side and I'm not a round nose fan, but couldn't pass it up.
And regarding the WB, looks like the bevel gets wider just before the toe, but it's just optics, the toe is still smaller, but I'm working that now..slow moving as I removed so much metal. Grabbing nicely all along, expect the toe and heel..
Cheers."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Hey - I found an old Dorko a couple of weeks ago, Val is just fixing it up and restoring it, and he's not normally a huge fan of the Solingen razors, nothing against them, they're just not his cup of tea so to speak, and he said he was very impressed with the Dorko, said it was some very sweet steel and Dorko is a huge name afterall, so I think looking at what nice shape that blade is in, you did very well to get a Dorko like that, let alone for that price...bet it turns out to be a real keeper - congrats!

You can get different grit sanding wheels that can be chucked up in a cordless/corded drill that will do a nice job of sanding as opposed to doing it by hand. They are composed of individual strips of sand paper. I start off at 60 and 80 grit then move to finer grits by hand on a short piece of PVC pipe.

Ok Tom ?
Cause thats as far as I'm going.
I can bend and twist it easily.
Will have better strength once i CA them.
Remember, you've never made any. And wood is not as tough as bone, ivory or horn.
The original thickness was 1/8 th inch.
Im done for the nite, got to get my gear ready for tomorrow nites tournament.
So off to the shower, and see how this new knot works.
