    Miss my marlin too.
Model 60 semi auto, micro groved barrel, 4power scope. Stripped the stock ( factory looked like crap) stained and finished with tru-oil gun stock finish .

OH? a 39A saddle ring carbine? Never have seen a 39A that wasn't an absolute tack driver.

Still waiting for a razor to come in, it is late , so I can join in with the fun.

Thanks for the suggestion Tom. I believe I will go to glass and drop a layer and revisit the edge. May be wider, but certainly closer to spec. If that do t work. Round three and 1 layer.
Jumping ahead. Here will be my next WB butchered repair. I seem to win the really ugly ones. 😀

Some more holes in scales to try to plug on this one. But I like the little inlay so want to save em.
    Cheers.

Nice Mike, but I'm still drooling over that Joseph Rodgers you posted in thatched group shot. That sucker was a looker!

I was sanding on my Clark & Hall blade some plus I cut a piece of scale slab in half to make my straight scales using my Dremel scroll saw but I wish I had a better one out in the garage. Funny how the horn looks like a piece of yellow/blue coticule in some places. I never cut a piece & had it come out that way.

It was a rare piece & was dead on with every shot. I always love .22's because you could go buy a brick of ammo & spend all day practicing & shooting different things. I miss that one & another was a Colt Peacemaker with a hair trigger. Someone else apparently needed them more than me!
