    Man! That's cool!
    Really cool!
I have an old Wester Bros WWII vintage American made 'Gun Metal' Razor which I think was a total factory blue job.
Polish away, it still is blue.
    Looking good!

OH! Don't cut yerself with that, Mike!
    Run it under the windowsill!

    The spine isn't blued either.

She did hone up a treat.
Kinda Scarry, being a square point, even being muted lightly.
Hey! But that's the fun of it, plus keeps your mind on what your doing.

Always funny how a keen razor, will sharpen a dull mind. [emoji6]

I thought about that which was why I sent him the scales as well.
Getting a little caught up here as I haven't been able to do much lately but hope to soon.

    Clean blade.
    Clean scales.
    Restraighten scales. (twice)
Polish spine, tape off w/scotch tape.
Blue entire blade, coat in oil, let season 24hrs.
    Make brass pins.
    Dome 4 small brass washers.
Gold leaf the tang stamps, and scales. Stamp too shallow to take at wedge end...oh well.
    Pinned up, and honed.

If you don't mind me asking what method did you choose to Bluethe steel ?

Cold blued with Birchwood n Casey's.
Clean the metal, wipe with denatured alcohol, wipe with clean rag saturated with the blueing. Then coat with oil and let season for 24hrs.
