Can't upload pics or find any.. The Searsasori is a serious piece of beard cutting glory.. rarely is a mortal afforded the opportunity to wage war on the minions of hairs standing in defiance of all the blades which came before The Searsasori. Other blades quiver in its presence.
In fact I keep it in its own case, in another room, away from my other so called blades as to not lose any more blades to shame.
I stand corrected my friend, and humbly ask to be forgiven for such blasphemy.

    hehehe
You know it really is an awesome shave!

Ya, Mike, I was tickled with it. I ground on that thing for days! Shaved a treat!
Looking for that SOTD pic where I had it sticking-out of a hole in my outback anvil.

    Glad you still have that!

Talking about woods, Mike. I really wished I had more of the African Blackwood. Loved working with that stuff, has the coolest grain. A chocolate n gold look about it.

Maybe you remember that scales I did for AlanQ

I would sell my 11/8" FBU before I sold that Searsasori.

    Let me dig it up..

And about the African Blackwood.. Very excellent wood! Not easy to work, oily so as to avoid any finish other than high grit sanding. I actually go all the way up to 12k which is really like a polishing cloth at that point!
It's flexible, very heavy (one of the heaviest), and it doesn't rot! At all.

    Here is the link:

It's a mystery FBU. Sorry to get your hopes up. But it's a prize possession.

Awesome right-up done by Voidmonster. Very grateful for his help. You should read it.
Perhaps you could repost the pic?
