    Thanks Mike.

TBH, I'm not to sure that I like the scales. Lovely wood but my feeling is that it's a little on the thick side and the wedge itself is more of a spacer.

Anyway, let me get them in hand and we'll take it from there.

Sorry, I have been dealing with some other BS lately & I'm playing catch up. Tom, are you referring to the ones I sent you?

I got them from a place called Fastener Express. Here's a link to directly to those washers:

    #0 Flat Washer NAS620 CO 18-8 Stainless

I was looking the other day & found some smaller OD washers for collorless pinning. Of course they would really have a collar but the OD was way smaller & wouldn't be seen. I usually save links to them but I looked & I didn't. I have been looking again for them. As for pinning in Ivory, I have some sterling silver pinning material but it is softer & would work but it might spread inside the Ivory itself so then it made me think of your idea on the rivets or drilling the Ivory out to fit a small insert inside with some CA to hold it which would keep the pin from spreading & cracking or breaking the Ivory.

Brass fasteners/ washers/ nuts/ screws, for posterity, these are the ones offered at my Ace. Having trouble with mine stocking them at the moment.

    Wouldn't say their too thick...
But maybe a bit wide in height, in comparison to the tang. But the color and grain of the wood is awesome looking. JMHO
