Need wifi to upload video sadly. But the punch pops perfect collars out of 0.016 aluminum. Was unsure since I'd only tried it on 0.005 brass.

Great solution to the problem.
The support washers would be 0.063- 0.068 hole dia by 0.093 dia OD. and about 0.010-0.015 thick.
I did a similar with a double washer hand held punch and die. The tube aligned the set and the pre drilled and punched blank.

PS, the greatest thing about the stamped washers is that they will conform to the scale as you pin, where the solid ones off the 'bay do not and always look a bit odd on a curved surface.Last edited by Geezer; 02-09-2014 at 06:14 PM.

I agree, these fit soooo much better, I put the aluminum ones to use on the marsh brothers razor and they would have looked aweful if they were those machined ones due to the contours of the scales, if the scales arent completely flat there would be gaps around the collar definitely.

Friend made me two more punches....one for brass pivot washers other for stacked collar support washer.
