Thanked: 315The razor is vintage because they decided it is based off the book, not the movie.
And some of these razors must need a lot of packaging. Apparently some sellers need over $10 to ship a basic straight razor or other small item across the U.S.
I guess a $3 stamp from USPS with tracking isn't up to their standards.Last edited by JP5; 12-27-2017 at 03:17 PM.

Thanked: 480Its rare that a seller actually pisses me off. So perhaps he belongs here...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/large-colle.../222772258610?
A single photo, with every blade closed but one. No returns.... I wrote and asked
"Are any chipped, cracked, or broken?"
The response? "Some are, most are not"
The way I learned both math, and flimflam, "most" is anything more than 1/2
I could be wrong, and for whomever has bid on this lot's sake, I hope I am.
But to me thats shite.

Thanked: 480Not really. His policy is no returns, and nowhere does he make any claims to the condition of the razors. This is a true case of Caveat Emptor (Let the Buyer Beware)
Literally, if somebody decides to take the chance with this, and they dont like what they get, it will be a case of "buyers remorse" and Ebay will disallow that as a reason for a dispute.

Thanked: 315Found that razor onimaru55 has been drooling over.
Does the profile or the aluminum/stainless combo make it so "vintage style"?

I hate to admit this, but that Sweeny Todd razor was actually my first razor though it was only $5 when I got it. It is also the reason I shied away from straight razors in the beginning. It wasn't until I found this site and found out the difference from a true straight razor and a razor shaped object that I decided to give it a try again.
