The razor is vintage because they decided it is based off the book, not the movie.

And some of these razors must need a lot of packaging. Apparently some sellers need over $10 to ship a basic straight razor or other small item across the U.S.
I guess a $3 stamp from USPS with tracking isn't up to their standards.

Its rare that a seller actually pisses me off. So perhaps he belongs here...

A single photo, with every blade closed but one. No returns.... I wrote and asked
"Are any chipped, cracked, or broken?"
The response? "Some are, most are not"
The way I learned both math, and flimflam, "most" is anything more than 1/2
I could be wrong, and for whomever has bid on this lot's sake, I hope I am.
    But to me thats shite.

His description doesn't describe the damage and his picture is concealing any so that could be to HIS detriment if a buyer was unsatisfied.

Not really. His policy is no returns, and nowhere does he make any claims to the condition of the razors. This is a true case of Caveat Emptor (Let the Buyer Beware)

Literally, if somebody decides to take the chance with this, and they dont like what they get, it will be a case of "buyers remorse" and Ebay will disallow that as a reason for a dispute.

I wouldn't be so sure eBay would rule this a case of caveat emptor if the buyer felt they were not given adequate information and the pictures concealed problems, but I'm not going find out.

Found that razor onimaru55 has been drooling over.

Does the profile or the aluminum/stainless combo make it so "vintage style"?

I hate to admit this, but that Sweeny Todd razor was actually my first razor though it was only $5 when I got it. It is also the reason I shied away from straight razors in the beginning. It wasn't until I found this site and found out the difference from a true straight razor and a razor shaped object that I decided to give it a try again.

He must have sensed your rage, so this was added today: “Of the approx 30, 7 have damage. added pic of them”

Hi I'm a newbie here. Is this an actual razor or did some enthusiastic person not get the memo on when to stop honing?
It might have been one but is not anymore.
Way back when the owner have taken a big chip out of it.
Steel being worth money many would have turned it into a knife.

That price is a little high for anyone that needs to ask about it.
