I did it! I also saw some item last night which was a knife sharpener by a seller called "ecop!". When you look at his feedback, he has many negatives but also sells a lot of things which makes his feedback still at 99% positive. I need to start reporting him as well for listing it in the wrong category. Thanks ScienceGuy.

To me it looks like it's full of rust and chips with a crack midway along the edge. 3 bidders over $150. Final price $232.50. Ouch, gotta love those WBs, they are always real cash cows.

Engine, I agree, looks very rusty and ScienceGuy called it right on the "crack of doom".
The edge is very crusty to say the least !!

It always amazes me that people will bid high on a razor mainly for the name when it is beyond repair and pass up on the less known or popular razors. Saves them for me then. I guess alot of people are just wanting to collect them and not use them. Where is the fun in that.

If you look at his other items & search "Vintage Ornate Whiskey Bottle", you will see one for the same price as this brush!
It's so sad some people think they have Ft Knox in their fingertips & try to rip some off by making them think it is a very rare item!!!

I hope not either with Christmas coming. I doubt it will sell but it is so unbelievable what some try to get for their items. I think some of these people are those "pickers" who have watched that show on cable which I hate. I saw it & before it was over, I laughed & changed the channel at the time. Those people screw it up for everyone & now others are going to auctions, antique shops, estate sales, storage unit auctions & so on, then try to get more than top dollar for their scores!

greed.....drives the price up on everything. They don't want it but will be dammed if they will make it available to someone who might. Like I have always said about some boyfriend girlfriend relations. Some wont give up what they think is theres even if they don't want it.

You're right about that! It's greed & if they can get some poor sucker to bite, they will certainly take it but I don't know how these people can sleep at night! Myself, I just couldn't do it. I was raised better than that.

I just found a straight razor that looks like it broke at the blade & tang & appears to have been soldered back together!
