Are these people playing jokes, dishonest or just plain stupid?

No one should buy a razor from Ebay without reading this entire thread. JMO
That's so funny, the same question popped into my head!
Dishonest jerks? Stupid? Out of touch? A joke???
If one asserts an idea, perhaps they should know a little bit about it! Just a little.
Yeah this thread should be homework before one enters the scandalous world of eBay.

    Sorry for link only.

They say this is a barber's notch... shows what I know! Lol
I contacted the seller and the chip has now been noted as well as the description having the barber notch ref removed, though it is still in the item heading.

After another messaging session with the seller They have also modified the main description, they were very polite and thanked me for setting them straight, they even asked for a fair starting price for the item. I don't think this seller is being deliberately deceptive, just not really sure of what she is selling.

That was good of you to contact them. I think that many of us get jaded by the shameless cheats and so are not inclined to communicate with them, expecting to get a lame response.
I'll try to keep an open mind, while maintaining a prudent level of suspicion...

I have never purchased a razor from Ebay.

Ed's actions show this seller to at least be honest and forthright. Good for her. Good for Ed.

Not sure if I posted this:

I made an offer for $2.25 with shipping included... Yeah, I wasn't in the best mood that day. They responded in a frank way saying "Dont joke around " I honestly think this guy has no clue.

I checked his other listings, same thing , some items about price someone who just really wants it, some items he is looking to cheat an idiot... light this one you gave link to..
What fool would buy that? And what greedy cheat would try to sell it at that price?
Some people defend such, saying "hey if someone's dumb enough"... but that does not fly in my book. Not good.
But hey, maybe this seller is out of touch..?
