Tims gets there coffee from a different supplier now. McDonald's bought out there old contract and sell the "old" brand of Tim Hortons coffee as their own. McDonald's coffee is now getting a lot more popular in my experience around where I live. My girlfriend works there so I've got an insider.

Got curious about Tims vs StarBucks locally. There are 15 Tims and only 5 StarBucks in a population of about 109,000. Guess we drink a lot of coffee considering all the other places to get a coffee also including 3 Robins shops. Must be a good business to be in no matter whee you are.

    Bob

    Forgot the 5 McDonalds too.

That was the big fuss in Brantford for quite some time. I think it's been a couple of years now.

I'll edit I believe this to be true but I can't be 100% sure. I'd call it straight goods.

Burger King was in the news a few months about about buying up Tim Horton's to do an inversion and skip out on paying US taxes. Negative publicity got to them quickly...

There is some sort of deal going on.... I don't like it. It was supposed to be a merger of companies right?
