I'm dragging up an old thread because I looked at tommyrazor's items today and he seems to be selling a massive amount of razors on ebay right now..and getting almost no bids. I wonder if his rep is that bad, or if the market is flooded for str8ts right now. Or maybe nobody wants to wait/pay for shipping from the UK?

I don't know what's going on either. Bought from him before and only have good things to say so I don't know why people are hesitating. In any event, I scored three framebacks from him the other day for a terribly reasonable price.

Yeah, I got a nice Swedish frameback from him a month or so ago. No complaints.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 79He's a good seller, I've bought from him in the past. He just isn't the guy one goes to expecting a steal. However, his razors are as he describes them and he asks a pretty fair price, although on the higher end of the bargain "I found this in the attic" sellers we all hope to buy from. No complaints from me.

I bought a 7/8 Kropp(hope that's not German for crap) from him earlier this week and I was the only bidder.
I see he has 40+ razors for sale and a few knifes..geez, $1450 for an old knife with many defects.
I'm thinking of getting a few more 7/8s and maybe that Crown & Sword, I like the metal on the Crown & Swords.

Thanked: 26As far as shipping prices go, I always ask for $6 for Priority Mail. The actual cost is $4.80. The remaining total is gas to the post office and packaging supplies. I refuse to bid on a razor that has a $10+ shipping quote within the US. That's just pushing it.
I don't know where he gets his razors but he seems to have an endless supply.
