Ebay item 180615524358. You may want to take a look at this again on Ebay. Look carefully at the tang stamp and the stamp on the scales.

Your suggestion is not very practical. When you get a fake razor from an Ebay seller you send it straight back to the seller for a refund. Maybe the seller - if he is reading this thread - would like to let us have one of these to send to GS and other experienced SRP members to kick its tyres. If he says he has sold them all and can't send us one to check that's fine. That means he won't have another to post for sale. BTW I am happy to pay for the registered post.

My bet would be that is a genuine Henckels. I just did a google images search for "Henckels logo" and they did sometimes use a single "twin" rather than the usual two. To me that razor looks like the real McCoy. YMMV.

Tavli, when you go to that razor click on "see other items". On the left go to "completed items" and you can see the other razors he sold with that lot. All unique Solingen razors. Counterfeiters do not make one offs for the amount of money he is getting for those. More like many of the same item is the norm. Just IMHO and I won't argue the point any further. We are each entitled to our own opinion.

Thanks for the info. Can you let us have the Google link?

My kitchen knives are Henckels, and they are all single dancing men. As I understand it, the doubles were stamped from the "Zwillingswerk" (TwinWorks) kind of like a Wostenholm from the Liberty Works or the Washington Works, etc.

Thanks. This has already been commented on on the 4 Oct thread. Do you really think this single man looks the same as that on the scales of the razor sold on Ebay? Also see the same 4 Oct thread. The single man has only been used for lower quality Henckels RECENT (not WW2) production in Spain and China for knives.
