What ebay will not let you sell kitchen knives
on ebay in england. That crazy maybe it's
cause well since you don't have legal guns.
alot of the murders over there happen
by the next choice a knife.
Cause your polices vests are made to
protect from knives cause must vests would
not stop a heavy item like a knife.
What they should do about the prochers is
kill them people who buy it. kill the people who
import it. and kill the people who kill the elepants.
set up a world wide death sentence for any one
who seeks to make profit from killing things like elepants.
but it should be alright for natives to kill any animal for
the meat. as long as they don't profit.

The "old" Customs House in New York was located adjoining the World Trade Center. The main room, the ceremonial room was bejeweled with things seized by Customs. The place was walled with rare wood paneling and tapestries and probably enough Elephant Ivory to scale every razor owned by everyone on this site with plenty left over. You name it and it was there. Gems, animal parts etc. It would make most major museums look shabby.

    It was all destroyed.

Did you see the twin 7 day set on ebay. I took a chance and they were the best set I have seen...and they are ivory with no cracks and look unused. They are stunning!! $255 with postage. And the box smelled of old luggage. I love it!!

I do a search for sets. It lists a bunch of scale wood and such but shows all the 7 day sets as well.

The day fur and other natural resorces become banned on the bay will be a sad day, there is nothing wrong with using natural resorces as long as they are used wisly,

Why don't the allow them to legally sell the tusks and use the money to keep going?

Because the ivory would still feed the global desire for ivory.
And it should be obvious that if a loophole like that it would be left open in places with high corruption like your typical African country, there would suddenly be a spike in seized ivory, and a lot of 'consulting fees' for additional 'park rangers'.
