I thought I could get by without one but after using it tonight I will definitely be getting one posthaste. What a PITA. Almost dropped it on my 12k. Probably would have cried. And my wife knocked my Robeson off of the counter and into the dogs water dish. Thank goodness in was closed. I wouldn't normally have been able too afford these but I took some metal scrap I had been saving to the scrapyard/recycle center. Being a plumber sometimes has its perks. Also I told SWIMBO how much it was going to cost each time I needed my razors touched up. That helped.

After a thread here, I was at the in-laws, and decided to check out and see if a razor that had been mentioned, was on E-Bay. So did a search, and not only found a blade that I won for $20.00, but it was even in Ontario! So the shipping cost of $2.50 was an added bonus! So, just arrived, blade only, a Jonathan Crookes razor, looks to be in stunning condition, any help on what the original scales might have looked like would be appreciated, figure this tiny blade will be an interesting shaver, complete opposite end of the scale for me, but the design of the blade is quite nice. Here are some pics...
