Good thing Roy posted about his pocket watch as it reminded me I had one my ex gave me in 1974. My wrist watch is out of service so I dug up the old Bulova Caravelle pocket watch, wound it and set the time. Surprise, surprise it still works and will do till I get my wrist watch back. Thanks Roy.

I got a message from the seller to say that the Royal Mail in UK had told him there were delays of up to 4 weeks in customs and as he hadn't sent it already did I still want it.

Order cancelled, but I have a Naniwa 12k in the mail from Quebec so I am very happy.

When I got my Omega boar I wore out a puck of Williams hand lathering.
This broke it in quite well. You could see the ends starting to feather.

A good soak in hot water will calm the scritch when you do use it to shave

    Hi,

How long does it take to break in (soften up a bit)?
