I remember seeing a post about that. I think I can see now why there is little to no hone ware.

I got a big package in the mail today. I won't say who it's from but someone here on SRP had a bunch of stuff and wanted to send it to me. A thank you for doing my part here at SRP including the giveaway. I just took one pick but in short...
17 or 18 Schick and Gillette razors. A couple of very odd Gillette you don't hear much about.
7 different styles of vintage injector blades
    7 straights
    a silver-plated shave mug
    a couple of old soaps
    Few brush holders
    about 50+ vintage brushes

Anyway, I just wanted him to know how much I appreciate the gesture. I will have to go through all this so it's another fun thing I get to do besides the car for a while. Wish I could restore razors but that ain't happening just yet.
I will have to make a few more shelves as my shave brush collection is now well over 100. Maybe I will fix up a few to sell. The wife just doesn't understand.

I think you're right Mike but what a great way to spend some time when there's nothing good on the TV.

Wow, Jerry. That is a really, REALLY generous gift. I saw the picture before I saw your name on my phone and thought, "wow, Jerry would love those Schicks, and those NOS tubes of blades are hard to come by." Then I zoomed out. Looked like it was from an estate sale or something. Everything looks great!
Haven't tried the modern injector style yet, but I think I would probably prefer the long handle Injectors over the short ones.

Scored this and a Super Speed? for $15. Cleaned with Dawn and a toothbrush, then with 3M Polish. Looked like it wasn't rinsed out the last time it was used, so it was gross. Soaked it in Barbicide when I was done. Still rough, but looks better.

Thanks all. It will take me a bit to clean up but I will enjoy it. My coffee cup is now full of straights that need restored or just honed and a small box for the rest. Although now I have another issue, my razor cabinet is full so Im going to have to find another holder/cabinet or case and store SE and DE separate from straights.

Nice find Joshua. With all my stuff plus all the stuff I just got I still dont have a Fatboy. Its on my list.

Yeah, nice when you can keep everything organized.

Well, turns out the cap is bent on the razor so it wouldn't shave right if I did use it.
