    That's looks excellent Paul.

You're gonna enjoy that Pike Norton #1 washita, really versatile and even sets a good bevel. Mine does.

Did you get the mild or medium? I had the mild and traded up. Its a nice razor. The way you shave with it reminds me of the Schick injectors.

Got a bunch of projects in the queue I need to finish and my pin selection has been dwindling. Up til now that is. Hopefully now I can finish some that I've been doing scale repair on.

Dang it! Now I need to order more horn and bone blanks.

I bought the mild. I still shave my cheeks with a straight, but wanted a DE for my neck with the crazy random hair growth pattern.

My first coti. A small stone at 150x40 or 6'x1.5'. Did heaps of reading and watched lotsa honing vids then honed on it yesterday and was left scratching my head.

Another learning curve. Another rabbit hole.

    Nice!
If you have a good edge, I would just try using it like you would any other stone to begin with. Then you can experiment using the slurry stone. I don't even have a slurry stone for mine yet.

I'm sure you have already looked into this method, but just in case.

I also find that coticule edges need a lot of strop after honing, like 60 cotton and 100 leather, they go from ok to sharp on the strop.
