This one should turn out well with a little attention.

Sweet mike. Did that one come with dyed horn? At least one side on this one is dyed. I can't tell with the other side yet. Trying to figure out if that was original.

Also my guess is those collars were added?

The backside scale is black, where the show side is a translucent brown.

My collars aren't the ones that came on it either.

I haven't taken this one apart yet but it looks the same. One side looks to be black and the other is translucent and appears to be dyed but I'll know better once it's apart.

I was thinking about going with some of Austin's florets when it goes back together but I'm torn since all the original ones are here and in good shape.

Just ordered the new OC version of the Razorock stainless steel Lupo 0.95 SB razor. The SB version is one of my favourite modern safety razors but for me has a slight short coming. That short coming is that for me it seems to clog up a little to easily. I think the OC version should solve that issue for me.

A 95 with an open comb? Well, You do like a mare aggressive razor, Bob. I have the Timeless 78 OC and it just never feels comfortable to me.

I guess I do favour what most would call aggressive DEs. I think it is all in finding the right angle for the DE in use as they don't all shave using the same angle. That is probably why some people butcher their face the first time they use an old style GEM razor. The angle to use on those is radically different from most DEs. In any event, I am looking forward to giving the RR Lupo 0.95 OC a workout next week.

I took a chance on an eBay razor. I saw it had a chip at the toe but it looked a bit on the large side so...
I won it for $26.00 plus shipping.
15/16, Half Hollow, Lots of patina, some devil spit, and a little rust. Some hone ware and hard rubber scales so I'm thinking it's not from the 1800s. Markings are...

    GEO STEPHENS & CO
    CHATHAM

On the backside of the tang is a Tree Logo but it's not a Boker tree. I tried a search on the name and the only thing I came come up with is there is a Chatham, England. But I'm coming up blank after that. If anyone has seen this name please let me know about it or point me in the right direction.

I think this one should clean up nice and be a solid 7/8 in the end. I've been needing to add to my larger razors but they always go for higher prices. I got very lucky on this one. Not sure why.
