I got this Gem Junior in the mail today. I made the guy an offer of $4.50 and he took it. Not perfect but I didn't have a Junior in my collection of Gem razors. I still need a few more Gems that I don't have. Someday.

We have a large population of Finnish people locally and that is a very familiar knife type/style here.

I think knife making is the national hobby for Finland. You google a Finnish knife maker & often he'll come up as a musician or IT guy but makes knives in his backyard workshop.

I haven't tried an open comb Safety Razor so this will be interesting, I'm told I might find it quite aggressive. I'm excited to try it out.
It's cheap enough that I won't be crying into my beer if I hate it.

I have found that an open comb razor is rather aggressive. Go slow, light pressure, and stretch that skin.

Sheesh! Now that is a superb order of fine shaving soaps. The Meisner wasn't a big fan of but was super nice to try - but MdC, Castle Forbes and Tabac, best of the best....love them all.

And thanks, Tabac it is today, a classic.

    Congrats and enjoy!
