    On the way.
Tracking says by Wednesday but usually comes earlier so maybe Tuesday.

    Mmm, pears.

I won a Gillette 109 Super Adjustable Black Beauty. It's not really special but when I saw Randy's it reminded me that I had one and sold it. I do have the short one so figured I'd better add the long one to my collection again.

After reading soooo many reviews and opinions, followed by alot of thought and much procrastination on my part, I finally bit the bullet and bought a Kanayama strop. Just the base model mind you coz I still had reservations when I hit the 'pay now' button. This thing is so supple and smooth. When I first felt the strop surface I thought it was gonna be way too slick and not have enough draw. But I was wrong. It is a lovely strop to use. A real piece of workmanship no doubt.

Cant go wrong with Kanayama. I got a couple. Plus the fact that I think he stopped making them.

James Wilkinson. I've seen several others, John, Benjamin, Henry, William but no James. I did find this:

...but I don't know that this is the James in question. It's interesting looking for the history. Nice old wedge. Should be fun.

Nothing to do with shaving I know, but my new Bluetooth earbuds are coming today.

I need me some Chris deBurgh, Funk or Queen when I'm working in the garden and these drown out the lawnmower but turn down if someone phones me.
