Yeah, I have a Macbook Pro & I have had one of these microscopes saved to my straight razor list. I had the magnet idea already & I have the magnets here which are about 1" in diameter & 1/8" thick & are super strong. I have to keep them away from everything or they stick to anything that gets near them. I used to mess around with guitars & I bought them here:

Just sitting here watching "Quigley Down Under" & thought I would put in my 2 cents. I almost got a microscope awhile back but it was only 2 mp so I didn't pull the trigger.

Yep, you can always tell by looking through a microscope like that or a loupe. I have Bergeon eyes loupe that clamps onto my eyeglass frame & I can see an edge really good that way! If I remember right it is a 10X.

or use a usb microscope then you don't have to balance the extra 30 grams off the end of your glasses and use the macbook screen , then you can zoom, pinch, pull, .. whatever ,'till your harts content

No story of substance, I think it was a pic I took off my Naniwa 8k. The razor I believe is a Dovo best swedish steel 6/8. Lol I knew the minute I posted those test pics it would turn into a honing critique hahaha.
