Thanked: 1Ron, I just received my Bengall yesterday and used it this morning. So THAT'S what a sharp razor is supposed to feel (and sound) like!!! Holy cow, I think the hairs were jumping off my face before the blade even reached them because they knew what fate awaited them! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
To all the other newbies out there: I would highly recommend you consider taking Ron up on his offer. I don't know how long it will take him to do whatever's on his waiting list but I can say without a doubt you will be extremely pleased when you get your razor back.
Thanks again,
Mark

Thanked: 293I also want to chime in and say what a nice job Utopian has done on the three razors I sent him. So far, I've only shaved with one of them last night, but it was the one he was the most unsure of. I can say that whatever the issue was, it is no longer an issue as I was still BBS when I woke up and I am not even close to approaching a 5 o'clock shadow at lunch time.
Great job!

Thanked: 3795I'd like to thank those of you that have entrusted me with your razors. I have definitely benefited from this experience and intend to continue it for the foreseeable future.
If you have a razor that needs to be honed, and you'd like it to be done for free, send me a PM describing your razor. I'm willing to hone any straight razor that is not on the SRP do not buy list.

Thanked: 2I was lucky enough to find out about this offer after picking up a Torrey (my first GOOD razor) a few days ago. With JUST stropping... chewed up my face and left me stubbly.
It's at the post office waiting to be sent to Ron. I cannot WAIT to see how it feels to use an expertly honed razor!

Thanked: 3795For the most part, I'm keeping up with the honing requests. I shave tested 6 this morning,
and 7 more came in the mail today!
If you need your razor to be honed, I'm still offering free honings to (relatively) new members. I'm limiting the free honings to one per person (unless you have a really good story) but I am willing to accept money for additional razors!
