I am currently using three: 1 Kent BK2 Grey Badger, 1 Truefitt & Hill Super Badger travel brush and 1 other Pure Badger travel brush. I am mstly using the Kent, but do grab for one of the travel brushes every now and then just to keep them in use and when I am starting a new puck of Kent's soap (i find that the short hair of the travel brush makes it easier to 'break in' a new puck of heard soap)
I do however consider buying another 3 brushes in the future. One would be a Semogue boar, another one the synthetic one from the Jack Black brand (I hear good things about that one) and a Thaeter handmade silver tip badger brush.

I have three at the moment and they all get used. A Tweezerman (Pure Badger), a Men-U (synthetic), and a Stephens Woodworking #6 (Silvertip). The Stephens #6 is quickly becoming a favorite though.

Thanked: 235I have four brushes. I have restored and sold a number of brushes. But I have kept some that didn't turn out a nice as I had hoped. They work just fine, but I wouldn't want to sell something that I knew to be not quite right.

Only one, but it looks like I'm going to have to get more going by the poll results so far..! Hehe! You brush-aholics you..!
I'm still using my Trumpers best badger that I got when I first started. Its doing a great job, which is, I guess, why I havent bought another one. That, and I keep spending all my money on razors..!

A few weeks back Paris Match published a photo of artist Lucian Freud lathering up with one of his large artist's brushes. Sadly, his other hand held a DE razor and not a cutthroat.

I have just one at the moment (a Tweezerman - Pure Badger), but the second one (MUEHLE - Silvertip badger) is on the way to me.
