I have 3. One is my first brush, an Ever-Ready C40 which I, until recently, used daily for about 25 years. My second is an antique brush that I picked up at a flea market. It resembles a Conk 344 but with longer bristles. My third is a brush custom made for me by Rudy Vey which I use daily. It's a faux ivory with 26mm knot of finst badger.

I have four. My first is a Mohawk boar, made in Canada and purchased at Sears, Roebuck & Co. back in the '60s when I started shaving. A German made boar w/ black & white painted wooden handle purchased from a barber supply where I bought my first good straight razor, a Dubl Duck Dwarf back in the mid '70s. A Plisson pure badger that I bought on sale from Stoddard's cutlery in Boston in the mid '80s (my favorite). And a Tweezerman pure badger bought about 5 yrs ago from a cutlery shop. I use them all.

Six, of which three get used. Favourite is a custom best badger with a short loft Golden nib knot; the other two in use are a Kent BK4 silvertip and a Semogue 2009 LE boar.

I currently have 11 brushes. One is a Semogue boar which I keep for travel. The other 10 are badger brushes and I rotate among all of them for my daily shave.

Thanked: 12I only have 2. A Edwin Jagger medium best badger and a VDH from walmart that I bought while waiting for the Edwin Jagger.
I don't know why, but I have never gotten BAD.
Now razors, soaps and creams, strops, eventually hones, I have all of those ADs, just not the money to put into them. Got to love birthday and christmas!

Funny seeing this thread cause I was thinking of getting another brush even though I don't need another one. I have 5 brushes now since I gave away a really nice boar brush that I liked to someone that wanted to try wet shaving. A boar, finest badger, silvertip badger, HMW badger, and one that I think is horsehair. I use the horsehair exclusively for MWF and the badgers for everything else. Mainly use the finest badger though. The boar doesn't get any use now cause it is a cheap brush that I wouldn't even consider mediocre.

I have 2 but only use 1 currently
my Original Edwin Jagger Best Black Badger that I use for every shave
& an old Butterfly brand Boar Brisle brush that was my Grand Fathers but it is like using a broom compared to the Badger LOLSaved,
to shave another day.

I have 10 but only use 3 of them I prefer Boar over Badger for what ever reason. I have 2 Omega Boar and a Vulfix "Grosvenor" that I had got for my wife but she doesn't use it. I have a Boar knot in a Handle that I gave to my Son and he also has a "Wee Scot" and a Omega "Bambino". I also have my Dads Ever Ready "Badgerlon" that is Badger and Nylon. and 3 that are marked Pure Badger.and the last is a Buffalo Brand with long brsitles.
