I've got six currently but I don't use the three on the left muh anymore. Five Ever-Ready and one Fuller with new knots from The Golden Nib.
    From left to right:
    (20mm Silvertip)(20mm Boar)(20mm Pure Badger)(22mm Premium Silvertip)(22mm Grade A Silvertip)(22mm Super Silvertip)

These four are on the bench. The butterscotch just needs to be reglued, the Vie-long belonged to my grandfather and I would like to squeeze at least a 22mm High Mountain White in there when I get to it. I also need to touch up the red stripe I painted on that Ever-Ready.

No plans for this lot, I just picked each up on a whim, maybe restore one of the red ones.

I like the blue/white Ever Ready with the English style loft. Looks like a winner.

I own four brushes, three of which I use. Two are boar brushes, one is a pure badger and one is a best badger. I'd like to get a silver tip to see what all the fuss is about.

Yeah I really like that fan style knot, makes it feel much larger than it is. Unfortunately, the Grade A and Super Silvertips are not much softer feeling than the regular Silvertip I have. Not sure if this is due to the source I purchased them from, or if these knots really just don't feel much different no matter where you get them. The Premium Silvertip on the other hand, is hands down my favorite yet.

Silver tip is really nice. But a good quality Best works just fine too. To me the most important aspect is how much backbone it has. Too much seems to be of lesser concern but too little is not something I enjoy. I'd rather have a Best that isn't too floppy than a silver tip with no spine. Two band badger is nice since it gives nice structure and a velvety feel. Unfortunately the two band I have is not a dense knot and therefore on the floppy side. Not a favorite.

    1Whipped Dog Silvertip Badger
1 Crabtree & Evelyn Best Badger
1 Crabtree & Evelyn pure Badger
    1 West Shaving Badger
    1 Semogue 830 Boar
1 Omega synthetic which I keep at work
    That's six.

It's a great collection and the fact that you have one of your grandfathers is over the top spectacular. I have about five brushes but have really two that I favor most. My Simpsons Persian Jar x3 and my Noble Shaving silver tip. Those two see the most action. I also have a Frank Shaving that I find really nice. I really like a big brush. I like a very generous lather and probably use three times the soap/cream than the average guy. You've got a nice group there and I'd like to see the barber pole one when it's done.

I've used the two band in the second photo a handful of times, but the knot came loose because I epoxied it to the original white plaster on the inside (does not adhere so well). It's a great knot, very well packed, and I would probably rank it tied for second with my Super Silvertip.

My two band came from WSP. I'm not very happy with it. It's....meh. Floppy as hell. If I didn't get it with free Amazon points I'd be really disappointed.
