Default How many brushes do you own/use?

I'm wondering how many brushes do you own and use, or just collect.

I have two brushes, but use only one, Rooney's Finsest. The other is an old cheapie I used years ago. It served me well, but I'm now spoiled with the Rooney. I don't see any reason to get another, and was wondering what benefits there are, asisde from collecting...Now, Razors, Hones, Shave Creams and Soaps is another thread.....

I have five, but one is going to my roommate (I'm getting him to wetshave, even if he still uses a disposable)

He's getting my Amazon Special (which performs quite admirably actually)

I have a Semogue 2000, Omega 11137, both in boar, and Stephen's Woodworking #1 and #6 in badger. I love all four, and will be adding more from each brand... Why not?

I have six brushes, two that I use regularly. A third gets used once in a great while.
The others just sit on a shelf.

I have 5 brushes and use the all. I alternate them through shaves depending on how I feel that day, LOL. I have two 22mm knots and two 24mm knots , the other is 20mm knot that I take on travel , but some how find it in the brush rotation at home anyway.

I use two brushes: one for shaving lather and one for toothpaste, but never at the same time unless it's a special occasion!
