I use three shaving brushes for the moment. All Simpson's brushes :
1) Colonel in best badger
2) Chubby 1 best badger
3) Wee Scot best badger
The Wee Scot is my travel brush and I like it a lot. Every time I use it, I'm impressed by the lather it makes for a so small brush. The proof that size doesn't matter
I'm waiting for the issue of the Simpson Chubby 2 in synthetic. If the feedback is good I'll maybe order one ^^

I have five brushes in which I use four of them. From left to right they are :
Vintage Badger Brush in rubber handle
Royal Shave PB2 Best Badger 3 Band
The Art of Shaving Silvertip Badger(My favorite)
Omega 11126 Boar Shave Brush
Champion Synthetic Shave brush(dont use but it was my first brush so can't get rid of it)

At last count I had 31.
For a while there my SBAD was noticeable, but it has all but passed now.
I tend to use every one of them, but some way more than others.
Simpson, Plisson and Rooney seems to be the ones seeing most use.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Brushes are cool but I have called it quits at three; one Crabtree & Evelyn badger, a Semogue boar and a surprising Omega synthetic. I like them all according to the soap or cream I use. Three is plenty, two are fine. One is enough. More than three (or is it five) of something is now pathlogical collecting according to the new DSM-5.

Four, but 2 aren't mounted yet. I've never bought a brush (that i'd use now) with useable bristles. I buy knots and rework oldies. I have a pure 20, and premiums in 24, 26, 26. Still fighting the old bristles in my 24 (in aluminum-goes with mirror/mug/brush stand).
I threw out all the grocery store junk i had been using.
And hey, you can USE a 26 knot without a handle...sure can.Buttery Goodness is the Grail

I have 6 in my current rotation. All Semogue, Omega, or Vulfix boars, or Vie-Long horses. There are 3 or 4 more in a drawer somewhere waiting for a friend or relative to show interest in wet-shaving. Every once in a while I miss my badgers, but whenever I make up my mind to buy another I find a deal on a razor of a hone someplace.........

I have a Rodney Neep dreadnought in "Extra Silvertip" that is nice,2 Semogue boars and 2 Badger and Blade boars. I like to use the dreadnought with Tabac and the boars with MWF. I want to get a Thaters next.
