well 2 wrong things... he moved AND he married a hideous monster.

Can't speak to the motivation but it's some pretty empty-headed or depraved stuff. It could happen down in Denver I assume, but it could only happen exactly once here. Last time someone did something stupid around here like pulling a gun on a cop, the officer emptied a magazine into him. Surprisingly he lived! The officer was put on admin leave pending the investigation but it was found to be a justified shoot pretty quickly. I said to another cop when we were talking about it that the officer needed some more range time. I know in various cities cops are seen to be excessive and militaristic, but here I know many of them and they're good people just doing their job to keep things safe. The occasional gang is the only crime influx here but it seems they're sparse and have a functional lifespan of days if they do show up - hence once of the reasons I left California.
