Thread: Sad happenings in the UK

I thought Spendur did a good job trying to explain this and I have a link to something that may explain Americans a little better. This situation may or may not be world news. It is definitely news in the U.S. and I could go on and on about what people are saying but the video pretty much explains the situation without bias and it is my feeling that if the media presented all activity in this manner we would have less fear and more understanding of the REAL facts and be able to make better judgements on what to do to change things. Of course there is still the fact that some politicians are less representative of those who elect them as this guy is.

Interesting, the one thread of this discussion that I've read about here is that of the Native North American's, who say it's their land, titled to them through Treaty, and essentially that now they're dealing with two sets of occupiers. Has the Native North American aspect been brought into the discussion in the US regarding this? Just curious as aside from CNN, it's not huge news up here....

One day I want to visit America and tour the country . Not interested in tourist sites , I wanna see the real America .

The first thing I'm gonna do an arrival is get tooled up .

If some one wants to shoot me , I'll blow them to bits

Tourists are allowed to carry guns with the rite permits from what I understand , so we all have a fighting chance.

LOL - yea, I can finally get a couple of Derringer's for each pocket, a nickel plated .45 revolver like Gen. Patton, and a machine gun, then finally get to try out a Denny's for breakfast! I'll have bacon, pancake's and eggs semi-auto!

There are lots of views among the Indian people about lands and rights. In fact they fought against each other over this long before the white man came. They believed in slavery and raiding each other for profit. Some tribes became 1 due to this type of thinking. 1 people over powering the other to advance their well being and way of life is the history of mankind from the beginning. In more modern times the influence of industrialists is more the norm. The land rights argument is worthless if you don't have the means to back up your claims. This is the reason Americans hold the right to bear arms so dearly. If you can be over powered , you will be. History proves it.
When you do come to visit the states your experience will be different in each state and section of the whole country. You come to my state and you better not get caught with a firearm unless you have a permit or solid reason for having it in your possession, and you better be carrying it in the proper fashion at that. The best way to know what's allowed in each county is to check with the local sheriff. You may have to leave your side arm in his office while in town :<0)

Pancakes is the magic word, I'm sold. We only have them once per year in UK "Pancake day"

Ummmm..... In certain states you might be able to carry a gun and in others....NOPE. Each state has their own laws regarding "weapons" and ignorance of the law is no excuse. Best to travel without anything that would be considered a weapon...... A 3 inch blade on a knife might be legal in one state and against the law in another. Same goes in Canada. There are federal laws and local laws. Something to keep in mind. It's not the "wild, wild west" as some people think North America is. Any where you go in this world there will be "bad" people and "good" people. Just don't be in the "wrong" place at the wrong time.

Very simply put by our founding fathers in the second amendment.

NOT THEM!!! They only work for us, WE hired them. Our politicians are not supposed to make laws against us.
Tell your boss what to do, and see what happens.
Speek out about your politicians, and your labeled as a extremist, right winged militant, gun lover.
And they strip you of your sovereign rights and property.

Media is their tool.
And you believe what they tell you?

I'll fight for my country...not for myself and my possessions.
But for the people and our constitution and way of life.

We send our troops over sea to fight for other countries, so they have this. Yet they strip them from us.!!!
