Ya, The little diesel seems to have come along after Fiat bought it all out. A 3:73 gear ratio would benefit that little fella.
Good move on resisting the emissions recall. It would be likely choked-down a lot?
The old bass-ackward calipers have come in several times. A common thing to see.

    It ain't just you, Tim!

Looking into a new ride, and am leaning towards another vw now that I’ve test driven the Golf R.
All wheel drive and a manual 6 speed gearbox. Close to 300 hp too out of the 2.0 turbo.
Small enough to commute in, and with the rear seats down fair bit of storage still.
Tweak the ecu, like I did the Corrado, will be a fun little rocket.

There are a few cars on the market I would like to try out however I am not actually in the market. In fact until they start paying me the correct amount I don’t actually have any extra money. Subaru would be my first thought.

The forester touring model is on my short list. If I could find a stick shift.

Trust me, Boys....Flat fours and sixes are NOT what you want. Make power, I suppose.
Last as long as Wankels and Karman Ghias Did!

They may have improved them, but most Scoobiedoos I have encountered suck a lot of oil after a while.
But then, everything with a flat rod will eventually do same.

I found a trashy old guitar at the Goodwill. I decided to give it a new life.

    Nice guitar and neat idea.

My wife wanted some pumpkins around the barn made of horseshoes. Put together these two and now her friends want some.
