I don't get why we cannot take a video and post it with our camera/phone?

Thanked: 4207Unfortunately you cannot post vids directly on SRP. Can only link to other sites that hold the vid. Either YouTube or other service like them.
Probably to save server space. But that’s how it is..

I have made dream catchers and taught a couple of night courses,at our local Vo-Tech, on making them in the past. Lately I’ve gotten interested in braiding paracord. I’ve made bracelets and have done a wrap and Turks head knot on a hiking staff and walking cane.

Thanks! A set of fids are essential for the Turks head. The one knot that has eluded me so far is the monkey’s fist. I’ll work on one for awhile then get frustrated and have to put it away for awhile.

The Star Knot is a personal favorite. I still have to pull the book out everytime i want to tie one though.

This is a book worth owning & it's written by a Bruce so it's gotta be good

I wouldn’t mind trying leather braiding. I’ve always thought it would be cool to make a riata. The old time vaquero’s used to make their own riatas, and I’ve seen western movies where they were braiding their own rope or hitching horsehair for tack. Not having horses, hitching tack might be a viable source of income these days.

A good knot work project is bell pulls.
This is a pic I grabbed from the web but I've made a few.
