I have a friend that used to work with the border patrol down in Texas. I don't know if he was yanking my chain or not but he said when they got a new pump they cycled sand through the action to make it rack louder. He said on a clear night you could hear them rack it half a mile away.

two things
Bruno
No a slug is not safer in the house
most OO buck (which is .32 caliber) will fail to penetrate a (decent) car door fully
maybe 1 or 2 slips through but are very deformed and with little remaining energy
a slug should penetrate 4 or 5 of the same car door easily
Syslight
Did I see mention of Glasers??
I would not EVER shoot these as a defensive round.
I can not stress strongly enough that these are pure marketing bullshit and are probably the worst defensive round ever.
again, they are absolute shit and you need to get real ammo, anything else.
they fail to penetrate deep enough to hit vitals EVERY TIME
If you shoot someone with one of these and they fail to seek medical attention they MAY, I repeat MAY die from infection in the wound 2-4 days later.
I'm quite honestly surprised no one has ever brought a suit against that company when Glasers failed to stop an assailant.
Of course dead men can't sue !!!
ok, I'm done. just concerned about Syslight
friends don't let friends shoot bullshit ammo
