Thanked: 1587I'm really sorry to hear that Rich.
Sorry, I don't have any accounting contacts (at least not in the US) but I'll be pulling for you
Best wishes.

Thanked: 3Wow... sorry to hear, really sorry 'bout that. Hope everything works out.
While on the subject of not having a job, I got my first job this summer (yeah, one of those late bloomers), and I was wondering about something. While you're looking for jobs, why don't you do what the aliens do? Stand on the street and wait for someone to pick you up for those labor jobs?
I mean I know you need to do research for the jobs, and that takes time. But if you really need money, why not do that to keep the cash flow going?

Ahhhh, man!....that sucks big time! Sorry to hear it, Rich....
....hang in there, buddy....hit the streets, get your face out there, and keep a good attitude....
...and think of it as an OPPORTUNITY to find that job that you've always wanted!
...is there any opportunity for consulting and/or contract work in yyour profession? That can be a very lucrative and satisfying way to go.
I hope everything works out for you, and you find the work that you want.

Sorry to hear that Rich. I'm sure you'll find something better. Just don't give them any details on how you shave
In the meantime, I'll see if I can sniff something out for you.
Edit: Mark may be onto something.. I have a buddy making a bundle in the IT for the financial sector and he's still dreaming of getting into consulting.
