I feel your pain my friend and wish you well. I hear New Zealand needs tech people badly. Ever consider relocating?

Rich,
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. My first job after the Navy ended abruptly as well. The good thing is that nearly all the employees found higher paying jobs. As others have pointed out, you have a great personality and it won't be long before you find yourself worrying about the less important things again.

Sorry to hear about your situation. The good thing is that you are in a field that is in demand and your in a good location. I hope your job search will be short and rewarded with a higher paying job.

I know of a few contracting companies on the east coast that a number of coworkers are happy with; they only deal in long term contracts, no week to week stuff. I will be seeing some of their senior recruiters next week at a social event, and they owe me a favor since I am bringing them some polo shirts from the Pentagon. I cant promise anything more than I will pass on your resume if you want to send it to me, but its a start. I know they deal almost exclusively in the technology field, so that may be up your alley from the sounds of it.

Depending on the cut I'm either a L or XL.
Since it's a Pentagon shirt let's go with the L. Will make me look more muscular, sort of like a chunky white older version of Tiger Woods.

I'd be willing to pony up the $ for an authentic pentagon polo. I'm always looking for something new to wear to the office...
