Thanked: 13249Poland seems to be one of the countries that has a realistic outlook of what may come
Poland has been increasing their military power and economic power for sometime now, Might be the shining star in Eastern Europe"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

Thanked: 13249So after 11 years yes this war actually started back in 2014 when Russia invaded Crimea then escalated in 2/2022
Has anyone changed their mind about how it is going ??"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

Thanked: 3228No, it is about par for the course. About the only change I can see is that there is a greater potential of WWIII happening now than before war began. I don't see that changing considering all the actors involved globally.

Britain certainly did something. We declared war on Germany within two days of the invasion of Poland. My father was recalled from leave and sent to Northern France with the RAF Advanced Air Striking Force shortly after war was declared. His squadron took a beating, but it's a travesty to say we did nothing.
In terms of the situation today in Ukraine; It appears to most of us in Britain that that the current US administration prefers Putin's version of events.'Living the dream, one nightmare at a time'

After the invasion of Poland yes. Our friend's timeline is a little off and credit to Churchill for having the stones to stand up to them but Chamberlaine did plenty of nothing. He and his delegation let Hitler laugh in their faces while he signed a treaty he had no intention of honoring. To make matters worse he stood there waiving around that worthless scrap of paper saying something about peace for our time at the very instant Hitler was staging a full on invasion of Czechoslovakia.
As far as the "current US administration" perhaps you think we were better off with that bumbling idiot or his dock hag VP all of which were on the take to China and Russia. Besides Zelenskyy is a punk and a thug and has demonstrated to the world that he is not trustworthy with money or support. Let's also not forget that Russia is a nuclear power so perhaps it is better to reason with the bear rather than poke it with a stick.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. Thanked: 3228You can't blame Poland for being more than a bit jumpy as so far, the West has let Russia take a piece of the Ukraine and now wants the rest of it by force. Should Russia succeed in taking the rest of the Ukraine by force, will Russia stop there or invade possibly Poland next causing open conflict with the West? That to me would be the similarity to Germany's invasion of Poland in 1939.
As far as the current administration in the US goes, I feel that it is making the world an even less stable place politically and financially. It is causing the rest of its traditional allies to question the reliability of the US as an ally.
As for Zelensky, I feel he has done a remarkable job at holding the Russian bear at bay with the patch work of outside aid the Ukraine has received to date. Unfortunately, Russia has a lot more meat to throw into the meat grinder that is war than the Ukraine has and will simply out last the Ukraine in a sustained war.

Stop listening the Marxist left run media and look at the record. Did Russia invade Ukraine while Trump was in office before? Were there ANY new wars while he was in office before?
As for the world financial situation I'm sure the rest of the world that had sweet trade deals are upset now that Trump has put a stop to it. He's America's president. Gotta look after American interests.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17
