    My Boss's favorite quote...

    "what are yah gonna do....punt"

Mine a friend long ago said this was a way to look at life..

"No matter where you go, There you are"

I have always found that it is MUCH deeper than it first appears.

Wow, some really good ones have gone unsaid!

    -don’t shit where you eat!
-never take the blame or the credit for something you didn’t do!
-if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
-don’t take life too seriously, you might not make it out alive.

And the best advise ever given to me!? A teacher in high school said

-People see you how you present yourself. They know nothing more and nothing less. So don’t “f” it up son!

Well my father once said: " If you find yourself or someone else complaining about a bad situation, well then the situation isn't that bad really --- otherwise you wouldn't have time to sit around and complain, you would be forced to do something. "

My sister once said the best way for a guy to not get a girl is to try ----- I've seen this proved on many occasions --- women do seem to be attracted to guys who don't give a crap about them.

I had a history teacher who hated apathy and would say: " the middle of the road is sometimes the most dangerous place to be"

This guy was a high school history teacher --- disliked by most because he expected too much of his students and really didn't bud up to many. That guy could control a class.

I like the one that goes "Everybody has the ability to be a genius until they open their mouth"

Almost always mutually exclusive to the second rule of engineering:
