It's another indication that her views and his are vastly different. I'm sure if she was answering the question with what she believes the answers would have been more coherent. Instead she is trying to parrot the McCain campaign talking points. For that matter I doubt McCain believes the McCain campaign, he's moved so far right from his more centerist's views of the previous 25 years.

If McCain were to win watch him minimalize her with a non ending series of out of country trips. Anything to keep here away from the White House.

Since the US government thinks habeas corpus is optional anyway, she could just disappear with only a 'no comment' to answer the questions

Exactly right Gugi (thank you),
The method in displaying Mrs Palin to the public is what's bugging me, but obviously it doesn't seem to bother Republicans at all. Maybe they see something most of us don't, maybe they see nothing wrong with what looks to me like a way to minimize her potential damaging thoughts.
Hehe, anyone familiar with a little play penned by George Bernard Shaw? Yeah, there seems to be some similarities regarding the Palin campaign strategy. The story was called " PygmALIoN, and was about a 'makeover' of sorts. Some may know this story as 'My Fair Lady', if that helps jog any memories.
Just an observation,
Martin

After watching that clip, I think the RNC is hiding her because she presents a lot like that clueless SC model did.
Seriously, her floundering was EXACTLY like middle management when they don't know what's going on. They drop a lot of buzzwords, and talk rapidly, but don't actually SAY anything.

Hi All,
I'd bet most members have never seen the 1938 movie version of Pygmalion, and that's a shame. This is a favorite of mine, both for acting and dialogue. Hehe, nope, there's no music to get in the way of the story.
Basically, Leslie Howard's a linguistics expert, and agrees to teach an ill speaking ****ney flower girl manners and a refined way of speech. He keeps her holed up at his place for months, until she's ready to be 'introduced' to an unsuspecting group of his social friends. She does ok there, except for a few little humorous incidents. Then he takes her to a royal function as the final test. Hell of a movie if you've never seen it before.
I'll include a few bits to give anyone the idea, although it looks like the whole movie's available on youtube. Not bad.
I hope a few of you will enjoy the movie, especially in light of this thread........heh.
