Thanked: 0I collect fountain pens, old Vegas stuff, old milk bottles.
I have a small collection of firearms that is my version of the 3 gun shoot.
I enjoy Wine, mostly red such as Zinfandel (Dry Creek, Amador, Paso) and other big ones like Cab & Pinot. Not Merlot tho, it has to be too darn expensive to be a good one.
I love imported beers like the weird Belgian stuff and microbrewed beers. I like to go desert camping but haven't in quite a while.
Love to go to Las Vegas.
Enjoy hitting Antique stores and the hunt for another straight razor or vintage fountain pen.
I am also involved in church where i go to a conservative Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod. As LCMS conservatives, we are part of the rebellion, where we still want to bring the President of the Synod up on charges stemming from a worship with those we are not in fellowship incident! Serious business.
And i love to BBQ!
I have a Dachshund 2YO thats my kid, best little buddy, a clown, and mischevious little imp.
I am currently searching for a new job and waiting for the right woman to drop from the sky.

I have been spending about four months of each year of the past seven travelling, mostly in South East Asia and the subcontinent. In the past few years, I've been spending most of my vacation time doing absolutely nothing living in a small Kuti secluded in the forest of Northeastern Thailand; other interests include hiking in the local mountains; trekking the Himalayas; photography (still use 35mm; used to own a 4 X 5 and a 2 1/4 Bronica, but I still don't have a digital camera); back in my younger days I wasted heaps of money on sailing. I was also a hobby beekeeper.

Thanked: 0I have more things I like to do than I seem to have energy for these days, but still dabble in several areas. I play in a bluegrass band - fiddle, mandolin and guitar, so some woodcarving, salmon fishing, trying to work up some loads for 1000 yard rifle competition, hiking in the Sierra mountains, used to do archery competition - hope to get back into it, have a 16 track home recording studio I play with, steel tip darts, collecting Tibetan and Chinese buddhas and Thankas, photography, writing fiction, and now straight razors and everything that relates to them.

Interesting that one common interest to almost all of us other than razors is shooting and flyfishing. I did both extensively in my past but only listed current hobbies.
Great minds all think alike
