That was 17 years ago, 17 years. That's a long time to remember something that didn't really accomplish anything.

Are you saying there isn't a difference between one group of Americans and another?

I was commenting specifically to Tim but yes, I believe people are people.

And I believe that each of us is an individual with different abilities and talents who should be allowed to be responsible for themselves and their own success with the intefence of governmental forces as much as possible, even if that means they might not succeed.

Thats why I can't agree with you, I am different from my neighbor and I will receive different opportunities. I don't deserve the same ones nor can anyone level the playing field for me except be making sure no one ever has any opportunities again. The way things are being done we will have a financial desert and they will call it equality of opportunity. I call it the death of individuality.

Just because it was foolish doesn't mean I should forget about. Those who forget are doomed to repeat. Where are you going with the 17 years bit? To suggest that something is relevant because it happened 17 years ago and I remember it is weak.

does anyone else find it childish to proclaim that you are going to ignore someone?

"MOM !!!! tell Timmy to be quiet !!!"

    "you tell him sweety..."

    " I CAN'T !! I'M IGNORING HIM !!! you tell him"

(probably me too now huh ? )

    Sorry to be vague:

I don't have an ignore list! I was making assumptions about Wildtim's ignore list. It is, however, just as childish.

In the UK, what we need is a 21st century Oliver Cromwell. I'm not holding my breath.

I think the Irish would have something to say about that
