I would have to say it's close, but not quite there yet. After all, the US did use concentration camps on Japanese Americans for fear of traitors and spies. Hitler doesn't have the patent on it
This thread has run the gamut...jokes, politics, religion, what the American way of life means, and now usenet. My reply to it, besides that I thought it was funny, is that of the Navy: the American Way is life, liberty, and the pursuit of those who threaten it.

In the USA during WW2 they were called internment camps and that is what they were. Unjust but to equate them with nazi concentration camps is misguided.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'm not equating them to nazi camps at all. They were obviously different in operation, but the concept remains the same- gather this group of people and lock 'em up so they can't go anywhere. My point was that a thread can't be Godwinned just from the mention of a concentration/internment camp.

While I am on your side generally in this line of argument, did either of these men commit their acts of terrorism for/on behalf of their religion?
Many of the well known, hgihly visible terrorists of the Islamic (at least THEY claim to be Islamic) faith have claimed Islam as their basis and justification.
This says nothing about Islam, it says something about these men, and these particular groups of people.

OK, let me just clarify. The joke is about a random stabbing. Any kind of murderous criminal could have been used as the protagonist, right? Or is it specifically Islamic Terrorists that are capable of this behaviour?
Sheesh! Talk about not seeing the wood for trees. As GW said, it's Muslim this, Muslim that, etc. etc. It's got so that it's an automatic thing to write in a joke even.
(For the record, the OP did make me chuckle, at all three stereotypes.)
