Thread: DEMOCRACY WILL FAIL

some of you are making my point exactly, we are voting ourselves more money from the trough to be like other countries. i hear people putting down AMERICA and wanting us to be like other countries. i have but one thing to say and that is if that is what you like feel free to leave. the majority of us like things the way they are. people like michael moore and his cohorts constantly put us down for our way of doing things and i see they have enjoyed the fruits of this country more than most and have millions of dollars in the bank and all they can do is gripe about how bad we are. something has gone terribly wrong lately and i am afraid it will all be gone soon. i served this country to defend my rights and yours, being given something for free is not a right but a burden on the rest of us who believe in true freedom and liberty

They may be just chugging along but according to the World Health Organization report here a child is twice as likely to die by age 5 in the USA as in Belgium. The stats aren't all that great for health in the "best and greatest" compared to many other countries that have universal health care in common.

Opinions are fine in this forum as long as they are kept gentlemanly.

I would ask that a mod remove this thread.The hate speech has started.Once strated it only goes downhill as respectfull disagreement goes out the window.

POWERTRIP.
All political parties set aside, the general mindset of the entire world is "Help each other out and we can all be happy.".

That doesn't ring true for those that are working 12 hours a day to support someone with cancer who can't work.

No offence, but if you can't earn your way in this worl, what gives you the right to live?

ok when you get cancer you come back and we will see who has there hand out. it is not that we don't want to work it is that we CAN'T work. please if you are going to be ignorant atleast use something that is not a disability.

I realize it's a touchy subject, especially someone who has gone through it, but it applies still.

I'm not being ignorant, I'm being blunt. You have no right to someone elses money.

Period. I don't care if you have cancer, I don't care if you're blind, I don't care if you lost your job, unless someone is willing to help you out, you don't deserve anything.

Money is time, time is someones life.

I'm sorry if that's offensive, but if you're picking hard earned money out my pocket because you can't pay your own way in this world, regardless the reason, then you don't need to be in this world. Sure, I'd GLADLY give money to save someones life, if it is someone I care for and choose to help.
