Thanked: 259i keep saying this president and some of his policies are going to do grave damage to this country forever. first carter, then the clintons, now obama and we are still declining in military power. soon the superpower may not be the united states.(which is exactly what obama said in a speech while overseas earlier this year) obama believes and has said that no nation need to be above another nation in military or political power or wealth. further decline and slip to third world status for us all. then where will we get the money for healthcare and all the social programs that they want so badly. we are already one of the greatest debtor nations ever seen. we keep handing out money to other countries, when we ourselves are flat broke and borrowing money at a staggering rate and there is no end in sight(no matter which party is in power)

Then I'll keep swinging the knife. If he succeeds in his aims nothing short of a revolution will make this country a free democracy again. He deserves no chance to enforce his will on this nation.
The fact that his nomination was even entertained means that this award is a complete joke. Giving an award like this for what he plans on doing is a huge joke, I mean Hitler planed on bringing peace to the world and perfecting humanity, that's just as award worthy an aim, the execution however makes all the difference.

Thanked: 116With the people currently making the most noise about a revolution, it will not be a democracy unless a second revolution happens.

people like the ones on that youtube post beforehand are the very venom of any side of a debate. that they think they could do a successful coup with 200 people is insane. i agree there are things that need to change but not by zealots like that. they do more harm to anybodies view than any good. the sad thing is there are these kinds of people on both sides of the aisle and it is a shame for both sides. these people destroy any hopes of compromise. i am not for censorship of any kind, but people with extreme views like that should consider just how crazy they sound.

One more rant. That "call to action" in his own words. Did not he accept a very different call to action by becoming the US president, a job that is not finished yet and that requires him to act in accordance with the US interests and not the "green world peace" ones? Has not he just agreed to work towards the Nobel committee's goals by accepting the prize?
I just smell a bit of a conflict of interest there. He should have waited with the acceptance until he is out of the office.
