I really do appreciate your perspective on this. But I also know that this IS a matter of perspective and what an individual, me, you, anybody, wants to hear and how they want to hear it.
It sounds like I get all of my news from FOX. I don't. Mostly internet. I watch very little TV. But I know that FOX represents a more conservative philosophy, and the rest represent a more liberal philosophy. And it is suspicious that FOX lies more than the rest. I really hope it does not come down to idealogy.

Thanked: 6Oh really?
From PEW:
A study by the respected Pew Research Center showed that 40 percent of Fox News stories on Obama in the last six weeks of the campaign were negative. Similarly, 40 percent of Fox News' stories on Obama's Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain, were negative. On CNN, by contrast, there was a 22-point disparity in the percentage of negative stories on Obama (39 percent) and McCain (61 percent). The disparity was even greater at MSNBC, according to Pew, where just 14 percent of Obama stories were negative, compared to a whopping 73 percent of McCain stories—a spread of 59 points.

Please explain how BBC checked their facts. As far as I can tell from the quote you provided is they talked to one source inside the cuban government and took his word for it. They dont list any second sources. I am in no way saying the cuban lied, but you said the BBC doublechecks and FOX doesnt. Then the next quote you provide shows FOX tried to contact a foreign minister(1), checked the cuban government page(2), and checked the cuban news agencies(3). I guess you were right FOX didnt doublecheck they tried to triple check, then reported the info they had at the time of the story. I could not find any mention of communism or cubans being heartless in FOX's story, was that hidden between the lines?

'Oh my goodness, YES!' indeed. Man. This does sound fantastic. I don't have cable or anything, so I rarely see FOX and rarely watch the idiot box anyway. But from what I hear in the news, the FOX viewership outnumbers all the other networks COMBINED, and strangely they were excluded from some special news broadcasts like one Sunday last year when all the other networks gave Obama special coverage all day. And now from what I hear they are projecting an even further increase in viewership since they have added sweet little Sarah. Fantastic. She's a hot momma. Those idiots at the other networks are already bucking for our tax dollars to prop them up because they are such incompetent losers and can't connect with the American people who know liars and slanted journalism when they see it.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!

I seem to remember the American people electing Al Gore as a president. And then electing GW Bush as a president, and then BH Obama...
And some insisting representative democracy a.k.a. republic is absolutely necessary to rein in the American people....
Do you wish to amend your statement above?
