Yea, I guess the list of Nobel Peace Prize winners is a rather short one. Couldn't resist after all the negativity.

Hold on a minute I did not say I thought he deserved it, only that he won it. When it comes to politicians it seems people have to pick the lesser of two evils no matter where in the world you are.

Combusting hydrogen is different than 'fuel-cell', the later indeed converts 'chemical' energy into 'electrical' (quotes needed because the chemical energy is electrical, but this is no place for a full science lesson).

And yes, it works, but the energy density of hydrogen (which you are using as a storage) is almost an order of magnitude than that of conventional fuel. The only advantage is the 'no-emissions' at the end stage, but you have to count the emissions in the production of the storage, as well as alternative technologies with 'no-emissions' at the end stage too (electric car).

Obviously they are trying to make it cheap enough for commercialization, but the success of that is far from given. From what I understand there are already many billions of dollars spent on this, and there will be even more spent, but at this point it's foolish to bet on it as a sure thing that only needs a little bit of time. There are several competing technologies so we'll have to live and see what the future will end up like.

To me this is just boring and pointless, and I would be stupid to waste my time.
But you have fun if that is what floats your boat.
And if by any chance you don't find a playmate remember to pat yourselves on the shoulder for forcing all those liberals to back down. No doubt your arguments have won.

Translation: We know he sucks too but our rigid ideology forces us not to admit it. In lieu of giving you the satisfaction of being right, we'll belittle you while appearing to do so, that way it doesn't look like a true admission of the fact, our guy sucks!

Maybe this is what the Handlers want us to do. The more that we worry about the unprovable and ufo's the less time we have to worry about what's really happening in the US and the World.
Look at Canada last week. Is there anything on the front pages of the US papers about what the 'People' are doing there. No! They don't want us to think about these thing. We need to all look at what's happening to 'us' and try to realize how we're being manipulated.

When they harm one of us, they harm all of us.

The funny thing is, I don't remember anyone being particularly over the moon about Obama on this thread...I think some of us like him better than Bush...some of us like him better than the prospect of Romney...but he's still a politician and some of us don't really like any of those, but we didn't think he was the anti-christ either.

If I was still invested in this conversation, I would have sent you to this site to get your feathers in a ruffle...but honestly that site is just partisan like the stuff you have been throwing down...just for the other side. That being said, you're pretty far out there...full on conspiracy theory stuff. I'm so glad I don't believe any of that...living would be terrifying if I thought all that stuff was true.

And just to make a point of saying it...I have no problem with you personally as (I hope) is the case vice-versa...we just don't see eye to eye on politics, to put it mildly
I looked at the site and I disagree with 4 out of 5 of those. A few were good, but hardly classified as major improvements. I would call most of them were negated by the phony stimulus plans.

I have no personal problem with you. I can argue politics all day without getting emotionally involved unlike some of my opponents. Most political discussions get out of hand because the other person really hasn't studied the issues so just gets mad when he can't counter the arguments.
