My wife and I saved on drinks though. We got half cut on the free beer at the Steam Whistle brewery across the street, THEN went to do the CN Tower tour.

That's it! When I get back from Indianapolis next week, I'm firing up the horse and heading east!

I probably wouldn't have paid it by my wife's aunt wanted to eat there and they were treating so we split an order of it with our lunch. It was amazing. Way better than the stuff I bought at McDs when I managed to cross the border.

Food was great but the building itself was beautiful.

Niagara on the Lake reminded me of a cross between Martha's Vineyard and Newport, RI. Except more polite.
We just ate lunch and then continued or tour led by my awesomely crazy inlaws. He's a mechanical engineer and she stays at home and does who knows what. Mostly forgets to take her ADD meds and takes care of her garden and cats. Easily some of the most fun relatives I've had.

Newport is beautiful but I've only been on business. Wouldn't want to go there for pleasure. Except fishing.
My Dad fishes for stripers on MV frequently. He's got a few friends out there that I enjoy but if it wasn't for the fishing in the early spring and fall when the tourists are gone that place would be miserable.

I'll take your word for it re: offseason. Like I wrote, 1 month in a beautiful place surrounded by not-so-nice people.

It is not because somebody current residence whether its USA or Germany or whatever, that he cant be Canadian. And if i want to talk "Poutine"
i surely will not ask someone from Ontario................
And no need to explain the offsides and why do the player get out of the penalty box after a goal i learned that decades ago..........
