And I think the Kim J kid knows this too ! He was highly educated here in the US and is not at all like his father. If he wants to really help his country he will have to make great sacrifices to do so. I don't think he is as dumb as everyone else does for some reason. I am sure he would have great conflict in his heart about the 3 to 5 million deaths that sort of plan would bring about but he must also have feelings about the poor condition of his country and the populous that lives there. Put yourself in his shoes. What would you come up with to affect change ? Is his life so grand that he wants to commit suicide by antagonizing the rest of the world ? Doesn't make sense. Some one stated there is no money in it. There is the money reason for you.
As for China ,, They are trying to gain more control over the S China sea. The reason they changed their tone with NK is because all this is bringing more US ships into the region with a good reason to be there. This is the last thing China wants. Who knows, maybe Kim has been making deals with the US since he was in school here. Time will tell and the media will cover the truth. (pun intended)

The problem is that war with NK is also going to cause problems for SK, and that is where a lot of electronics are made today. That would hurt the world's economy.

that chubby lil midget couldn't hit his ass with both hands! Much less Colorado with his second rate nintendo nuc program. I'd be surprised if they could even launch over the sea of Japan. If we just airdrop some subway sammiches over NK, they would back off.
