Fellas
I've just gone through this thread and put all the links in an excel spreadsheet
It's in columns - Link, member, comment, reply #
I can't attach a spreadsheet to a post
Could someone put it at the top of the post sticky if I email it to them? I think it's a pretty helpful list, especially for new people.
There are 26 links, some like Himage came up quite often, other ones were a lot more obscure.
I left out all the physical shop locations comments etc, it's only links to online shaving supplies.
let me know if anyone wants it.

Thanked: 983I would send a PM to Onimaru55 (Os) to let him know what you have done, and what you would like to have done with it. Personally I think it's a great thing you have done and want to do. A very useful sticky it would be.

Just putting this out there, but if people are interested, I am happy to build a basic website that can display all the info from the PDF supplied by nonick. I would also be happy to extent the site to cover international suppliers, by country if others want it. Ideally I would build it as a sub-site of SRP (ie straightrazorplace.com/suppliers or as subdomain ie suppliers.straightrazorplace.com) , if SRP would like me to do so. I can add permissions to allow approved members to be able to login and edit/update. Alternatively its easy to acquire a domain name and run separate from SRP.
Not wanting to do this as a commercial enterprise ie. ads and revenue generation, just as a knowledge base for members.
I dont want to take focus away from this site or forum and would only proceed if the interest is there, and if SRP provides their blessing / approval to proceed. Even better would be if site developers at srp would like to incorporate it into srp themselves. I think it would be a great resource to have here.
Just want to give back something to SRP and the members who have helped me so much.

NEWSFLASH - AndrewJM has quit his day job and has decided to live on donated food parcels and soap scum for the greater good of the world shaving community!
It's a good idea - at least to have some sort of links section in the site somewhere.

As I said, just throwing the idea out there. A site like that would only take a couple of hours to build (wouldn't be any where near as complicated or pretty as this site), and can assign permissions for as many people as necessary to update... could easily assign permission to one volunteer/multiple volunteers per geographical region.

I think it's excellent thinking. Would be willing to help in any way from a New Zealand perspective - we also have issues from here, and I'd hazard a guess that our supplies are even more expensive here.

Here's another vendor on ebay, based in Adelaide. Stocking Omega brushes, Proraso shave soaps and some after shave balms.
Nothing too special, but it's still good to see !!
