AndrewJM , please, please pm one of the devs. gugi would be a good choice . You could run any ideas by him but more importantly if you could help with site related stuff it would be great. I'm sure gugi could keep you very busy.

This company is based in Braeside, Melbourne. Their products are certified organic. There is one shave soap and one after shave oil and one shave set. Not cheap !!

This vendor is based in Enmore, NSW and seems to be an "umbrella" company where very small producers can supply / sell under a biggish name.
There are only about half a dozen products that would be of interest, but I haven't searched the entire website.
The three shave creams in particular are well priced.

You can always expect to pay 2x as much for the certified organic label.

I would also be happy to extent the site to cover international suppliers, by country if others want it. Ideally I would build it as a sub-site of SRP (ie straightrazorplace.com/suppliers or as subdomain ie suppliers.straightrazorplace.com) , if SRP would like me to do so. I can add permissions to allow approved members to be able to login and edit/update. Alternatively its easy to acquire a domain name and run separate from SRP.

Not wanting to do this as a commercial enterprise ie. ads and revenue generation, just as a knowledge base for members.

I dont want to take focus away from this site or forum and would only proceed if the interest is there, and if SRP provides their blessing / approval to proceed. Even better would be if site developers at srp would like to incorporate it into srp themselves. I think it would be a great resource to have here.

Just want to give back something to SRP and the members who have helped me so much.
We already have this - the Library and it is linked at the main navigation bar. It is a wiki, so it has all the necessary infrastructure to ensure authentication, segmentation of permissions, easy updates, etc.
The main problem though has been keeping the information there up to date. Currently it also requires people to get separate authentication from the forum, but we've been pretty good and everybody who wanted to contribute to the Library has gotten access.

    Wow $39.95 for 145g .. that's nearly 30 cents per gram!

The shave would want to be exceeding excellent or the tin gold plated :-)

Have you used their products bongo?

No mate, I'm just putting up a list of the smaller sellers that might have been overlooked.
